2-Course A-la-Carte Meal Offer - £19.90

Our exclusive a-la-carte meal offer runs from Sunday to Tuesday and is a firm favourite amongst regular patrons and new customers alike. For only £19.90, you have a wide array of choice from the main menus. Simply choose any starter (except mixed platter), a Chef’s Classic or Signature Speciality dish and boiled rice, pilau rice or any naan.

About Pearl of India

The exquisite traditional Indian food served at Pearl of India is packed full of authentic and vibrant flavours, spices and ingredients. What one would call traditional Indian dishes are actually dishes made from vastly different cultures, religions and periods of India’s history.

At the heart of each dish, however, is the spices. The same spice, prepared in different methods bring out multitudes of different flavours and intensities. At The Pearl, our highly trained chefs have many years of expertise preparing, cooking and serving the great array of Indian dishes using authentic methods.

The premises now numbered 8-8a Quiet Street was built in 1824 to the design of Bath architect, Henry Edmund Goodridge. Goodridge also designed the entrance block to the Corridor in the High Street. No 8 formed the ‘Auction Mart & Bazaar’. 

On its first floor, a large and lofty hall was used for meetings and exhibitions and later as a Methodist Chapel. The two statues in the niches are the work of Lucius Gahagan, they represent ‘Commerce’ and ‘Genius’. The figure in the apex of the pediment is by an unknown sculptor and represents ‘Mercury’, the god of trade and communicatio
